We process personal information only where the law allows — to perform a contract with you, to comply with a legal obligation, to pursue our legitimate business interests in a balanced way, or with your consent. We do not process more than is necessary for these purposes.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with operators who process it on our behalf under a written mandate (for example payment, email, or hosting providers), or where required by law. Operators are bound to confidentiality and security obligations.
We take appropriate, reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, and misuse, and we review these measures from time to time. Where we become aware of a compromise, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required.
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax records are kept for the period prescribed by SARS), after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.
Where a service provider stores information outside South Africa, we ensure the recipient is subject to laws, binding rules, or a contract that provide an adequate level of protection comparable to POPIA.
